About this event
Winner of the 2024 Toyota Star Maker, North-Western Queensland country artist and Professional Rodeo Circuit Cowboy Wade Forster is no stranger to the bright lights. He found music whilst travelling around Australia competing in rodeos and decided to buy a guitar and teach himself to play. Since those long days and nights of 2018, He has released his debut album “The Beginning” in 2022, which has had huge international and local success.
He also was a part of The Academy in 2023 where he learnt new skills and got the opportunity to be a part of the opening concert at the 2023 Tamworth Country Music Festival on the main stage. He dreams of days of old, as his music reflects George Jones and Dwight Yoakam incorporating modern elements of Cody Johnson and Tyler Childers. His goals are to tell his stories of the road and the troubles with being a travelling cowboy.
